Villages are the foundation of India. Yet most rural common areas, panchayat buildings, and shared spaces remain undesigned and underserved. We bring the same intentional design thinking to rural India that transforms cities — and make it work at every scale and resource level.
India has over 600,000 villages. Most have never had a designer think about their public spaces, community areas, or visual environment. The result is spaces that feel temporary, undignified, and underused.
Design changes this. Not expensive design — intentional design. Thoughtful placement of seating, shade, colour, wayfinding, and function can transform how a community uses and feels about its shared spaces.

We begin by listening. Every village has its own culture, materials, and way of using space. Our designs work with that reality, not against it.
Design doesn't mean expensive. We create beautiful, functional spaces using locally available materials, local labour, and minimal maintenance requirements.
We design for how a space will be used five years from now — not just for the inauguration. Durability, maintainability, and adaptability are built in from the start.
"A village that looks cared for
is a village that feels cared for."
And when people feel their space is cared for, they care for it too. Design creates ownership. Ownership creates pride. Pride creates community.
Village beautification projects create visible, lasting impact that fulfils CSR mandates with clear before/after documentation, community benefit, and brand visibility.
We work with Gram Panchayats, state government agencies, and NGOs to bring design capability to development programmes that lack it.
You can sponsor the transformation of a village common area, school, anganwadi, or public well — and see the change your contribution creates.
Work on village projects through MIB. Real design challenges, meaningful impact, and an experience unlike anything you'll find in a studio.
